Hands of Hope Faith Academy (HOHFA)
When we established Hands of Hope Faith Academy, we did not want it to become just another educational institution. It was to be a place where faith and knowledge intersect to create a nurturing environment for students to grow academically, spiritually, and personally. An important part of this vision is academic excellence. Therefore, in our pursuit of continued improvement and academic excellence, we are excited to announce the appointment of Dr. Marichu Gapoy to lead the school in the role of Administrator/Consultant.

Dr. Gapoy has had over 30 years of experience in public schools and for a number of those years, she served as a principal.  She has already made several improvements to the classrooms and introduced personal development sessions for the teachers. We are thrilled to have her join the HOHFA family.

If you’re inspired by the mission of Hands of Hope Faith Academy, there are several ways to get involved. Then please consider donating to support students, property maintenance and school equipment. Click here for more information.

Ministry, churches, and small groups
Marivic and the team continue to oversee and faithfully run the ministry. This involves Sunday services, emergency aid, small groups, and much more. Small Groups are an important part of our vision as they play a crucial role in fostering a sense of community, supporting spiritual growth, and providing opportunities for outreach and service. In addition, they offer a more intimate and personalised experience within the larger church body, enriching the overall spiritual journey and health of our members.

MIssion’s Team
We have a mission team visiting from Tauranga in November. Tim, Sue and the team have visited us several times so the villagers are excited to see them again. They have already raised money for a new church projector (the other one stopped working a few months ago), leadership seminars as well as several other things.

A big thank you to all our partners. Please continue to pray for our ministry leaders and the school. We post regular pictures and news on our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts. It’s a great way to keep up to date. Please add us as we would love to keep in touch.

Blessings
