Sponsored children like getting letters from their sponsors and learning more about New Zealand life. Large, bulky presents, on the other hand, might draw unwelcome attention and initiate jealousy in the community. Stickers, balloons, postcards, pencils, or other little objects that can fit in a regular envelope can be sent with your message; anything larger is not recommended.
