Bringing a Brighter Future!
Millions in the Philippines faced flash flooding, mud-slides and winds of 195mph, after super-Typhoon ‘Haiyan’ made landfall on Friday 8 November 2013. Because of your generosity we were able to partner with Ywam and rebuild a number of homes. An average of about 20 typhoons strikes the Southeast Asian every year. These natural disasters leave many without food, shelter and clothing. Help us to build a fund where we can help those in need after a natural disaster.

Typhoon Yolanda

November 8, 2013 Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) was one of the largest storms to ever make landfall. Whole towns have been demolished by winds measuring over 200 mph (300 km/h) and a storm surge that brought a wall of water up to 30 feet (10 meters) high. Yolanda affected some 9.5 million people in the Philippines and caused widespread destruction and displacement. The death toll continues to rise as remote areas are reached.typhoon yolanda
