Christmas is fast approaching and planning is well underway for the Christmas parties at Hands of Hope Faith Academy and in our many churches. Once again we have also set up a Christmas gift page which focuses on the long term and will enable us to celebrate Christmas well beyond the 25th December. Gifts of any size, $5, $10, $20, $50, $100 or larger, go a long way toward helping and igniting fresh hope within people. Please CLICK HERE and donate today.
During November we held baptism services and close to 80 people made the public declaration of their faith. It was a powerful and joyful time and you can view a few photos online by CLICKING HERE
Its wonderful to see the power of God at work and hear so many testifying in our meetings of God’s love, faithfulness, provision and healing. A lady shared recently at how God had touched her young son who suffers from asthma. He suffered an attack and she had no access to any forms of medical treatment, including a nebuliser. She laid hands on him, prayed, felt the presence of God and then noticed her son was breathing normally…awesome!!! On Wednesday evenings Peter and Lesley are running a prophetic workshop with our leaders. In one of the sessions one of our leaders shared her picture of a big fish jumping high and splashing. She felt God was saying that the fishermen in San Isidro (her village) would be getting lots of fish. This is exactly what happened the following day as about 2000kgs of fish were pulled in, in one net. I don’t think we can over exaggerate God's goodness. :-)
Hands of Hope Faith Academy continues to go from strength to strength. Three weeks ago DepEd released our permits to operate K and Grades 1-6 for the 2017-2018 School year. On slightly sadder note, our Grade 1 teacher, teacher Clarita, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday. She was only with us a short time but her commitment and love for the children, her career and the Lord, has left a lasting impression. She will be greatly missed but we know she is in a much better place now. Please pray for her family.
